Ak’ Tenamit (AAT) is an indigenous community development organization that promotes long-term solutions to poverty through education, health, income generation and cultural programs.
Its primary works are located in the Rio Dulce area of eastern Guatemala, in the heart of the communities it serves and it also has a second administrative office in Guatemala City. Beyond sending down a percentage of each purchase, Couture Culture is proud to travel to Guatemala to support Ak' Tenamit each year in its many valuable efforts.
AAT receives funding and logistical help from the Guatemalan Tomorrow Fund, a non-profit based in the United States.
